Jason Garrett: 'Poor play on offense cost us'

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett feels that poor play on the offensive side of the ball was to blame for his side's defeat to the Arizona Cardinals.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett feels that his side's struggles on the offensive side of the ball were to blame for their defeat to the Arizona Cardinals.

Brandon Weeden replaced Tony Romo at quarterback for the Cowboys, due to the 34-year-old's absence with a back injury.

Weeden struggled immensely as he saw two passes intercepted and passed for only 183 yards as the Cowboys slipped to their third defeat of the season.

Garrett told reporters: "There were some positive things in the game [on Sunday] that you can point to. But for the most part we didn't do what we needed to do in the passing game throughout the game. We've got to build on some of the good things that did happen.

"[We] didn't convert on third down like we had up to this point this year and some of those plays that impacted those scoring chances certainly hurt us."

The Cowboys are 6-3 in their season going into week 10.
