Denver Broncos sign former New England Patriot Marquice Cole

The Denver Broncos sign former New England Patriots defensive back Marquice Cole to their roster to replace the injured Chris Harris ahead of the AFC championship game.

The Denver Broncos have announced that they have signed former New England Patriots cornerback Marquice Cole to their 53-man roster.

Cole was released by the Patriots three weeks ago as he was replaced by rookie defensive back Justin Green after injuries and poor performances caused him to be deemed replaceable by Bill Belichick.

The Broncos were in need of a cornerback after Chris Harris was ruled out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, but may also be able to get information from the player on his former side ahead of their AFC championship showdown.

The 30-year-old had 15 tackles and one interception on the season.
