Brett Favre congratulates Peyton Manning on record

Brett Favre hails Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning for breaking the NFL record for career passing touchdowns in his side's win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre has congratulated Peyton Manning on breaking his NFL record for career passing touchdowns.

Manning surpassed Favre when he threw his 509th touchdown strike of his career when he found Demaryius Thomas in the endzone in the Denver Broncos' win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Favre believes that the 38-year-old has the ability to reach 600 touchdowns despite his advancing years.

Manning has won one Super Bowl in his career in the 2006 season with the Indianapolis Colts.
