Denver Broncos head coach John Fox says that he would still take the same approach to the end of the game which saw his side eliminated from last season's playoffs.

John Fox has claimed that he would not change the Denver Broncos' tactics for the playoffs, despite their loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round earlier this year.

Quarterback Peyton Manning had a chance to go for a game-winning pass late in the tie, but the head coach told him to take a knee, sending the game to overtime.

Fox told the Denver Post: "I've debated it with my staff, my wife, myself. I would do the same thing 10 times out of 10. Too many bad things could happen. Remember, we had a pick-six earlier in the game.

"You're talking about the wrong play. I would change what we did on third-and-7 the series before. That's the one that gnaws at me. We get the first down there, and Baltimore can't stop the clock again, and the game's over."

The Broncos went on to lose in overtime to the eventual Super Bowl champions.
