Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has insisted that the key for the team is how they respond to losing a football game.
The Broncos fell to a 43-21 loss to the New England Patriots last time out which resulted in them slipping to 6-2 for the season, but they still remain at the top of the AFC West.
However, both Manning and coach John Fox have insisted that the focus must now switch to the Oakland Raiders as Denver look to get back to winning ways.
"Losing a football game, the key is how you respond to it," Manning told the media.
"I've seen teams lose games and they don't recover from it. We are focused on trying to respond and play better. Can it be a good thing [to lose]? Yeah, if you respond."
Manning is 8-0 in his career against teams that are 0-3 or worse, with the winless Raiders sitting at the bottom of the division.
