Last-gasp win for Indianapolis Colts

Two late touchdowns see the Indianapolis Colts come from behind to beat the Detroit Lions.

The Lions had looked the stronger of the sides, with the Colts continuing to struggle on the road.

Touchdowns from Calvin Johnson, Mikel Leshoure and Brandon Pettigrew gave the Lions control of the game, then a LaVonn Brazill touchdown left the Colts needing another score late in the fourth quarter.

With the last snap of the game, quarterback Andrew Luck threw the ball to Donnie Avery, who raced into the end zone to complete the comeback, giving the Colts a 35-33 victory.

The Colts, who had the worst record in the NFL last season, now look like securing a playoff place, while the Lions sit bottom of the NFC North.
