An early touchdown from Jordy Nelson has given the Green Bay Packers a 10-3 lead over the Miami Dolphins at half time at the Sun Life Stadium this evening.
The Packers were ahead early in the first quarter when quarterback Aaron Rodgers found Nelson in space at the back of the endzone for a touchdown.
Miami could not level the scores from their first drive of the game, but a 48-yard field goal from Caleb Sturgis got the home side on the board.
Rodgers tried to get Green Bay into a position to extend their lead, but the Packers quarterback was sacked, forcing Mason Crosby to come on for a field goal attempt.
Ryan Tannehill tried a couple of deep passes in a bid to get the Dolphins back on level terms before half time, but both attempts were intercepted by Sam Shields and Casey Hayward respectively.
