Brandon Bostick: 'I have to put mistake behind me'

Green Bay Packers tight end Brandon Bostick reveals that he will have to work hard to put his costly mistake in his side's defeat in the NFC championship game behind him.

Green Bay Packers tight end Brandon Bostick has admitted that he will have to do his utmost to put his error in the NFC championship game behind him in his side's defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks needed to earn another possession in the match to attempt a comeback, and opted for an onside kick with just two minutes remaining in the game.

Steven Hauschka's kick sailed into the air and Bostick attempted to catch the ball, but he dropped it allowing Chris Matthews to recover.

Pete Carroll's men took the lead on a score from Marshawn Lynch, but a kick from Mason Crosby sent the game to overtime. However, Russell Wilson and Jermaine Kearse combined to end the game to send the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.

Bostick told reporters: "I'm just trying to deal with this. I'll just move on from it, come back here and just work hard and just try to put that behind me.

"I guess I just reacted to it. I just saw the ball and went to get the ball, which wasn't my job. That's all I can say about that.

"I'm human. I made a mistake. But if I would've made the play, we wouldn't have been in this [situation] or if I would've made the block, we wouldn't be talking about this. But it's over now, so I'll just try my best to get over it."

The Packers held a 16-point lead at half time at CenturyLink Field.
