Green Bay Packers quarterback B.J Coleman believes that the running skills of rookie Eddie Lacy will be a "huge weapon" for his side this season.

Green Bay Packers quarterback B.J Coleman believes that rookie running back Eddie Lacy will be a "huge weapon" for Mike McCarthy's side this season.

The 22-year-old was drafted 61st overall in the 2013 draft out of Alabama, where he was three-time national champion with Nick Saban's team.

Coleman told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "He's going to be a huge weapon for us. First time out. Environment like that.

"I thought he did a great job. It's nice to have him back there with you. He runs the ball hard. He's a very strong man."

Green Bay begin their pre-season campaign next week against the Arizona Cardinals.
