Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver admits that he would come out of retirement if the NFC North champions asked him back.

Donald Driver has revealed that he would consider coming out of retirement if asked to by the Green Bay Packers.

The wide receiver announced his retirement after being released by the NFC North champions earlier this year, but has continued to receive interest from other teams in the NFL.

The 38-year-old told FOX Sports Wisconsin: "I decided that I love one team. At the end of the day, if I get that itch, it would only be for the green and gold.

"If the Packers called me and said, 'Drive, come back to training camp,' I'd be back for training camp, but until then, I'll be sitting at home and just watching football.

"I think the thing for me is if the Packers call mid-season, I'd be in shape. I've been staying in shape."

Driver spent his entire 14-season career with the Packers, earning four Pro Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win.
