Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is yet to make a decision regarding his starting quarterback going forward.
Scott Tolzien started the Packers' tie with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but was replaced in the third quarter by Matt Flynn, who signed for the team when first-choice Aaron Rodgers sustained an injury.
Flynn helped the team salvage the contest and take it in to overtime, where they were unlucky not to finish up the winning side.
McCarthy told reporters: "Matt played very well. He deserves to start. But I like the way Scott has grown.
"So those are the things we're talking about. So we're going to do the best we can to make sure they're both ready for Thursday."
The Packers still have hopes of making the NFL playoffs and face NFC North rivals the Detroit Lions on Thursday night.
