Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has revealed that Seneca Wallace will be his side's starter following an injury to Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers fractured his collarbone during his side's defeat to the Chicago Bears on Monday and was replaced by Wallace in the game, but he struggled to match the 29-year-old's production.
"We're preparing Seneca Wallace and getting him ready to be the starter," McCarthy told reporters. "I have all the confidence in the world in Seneca.
"This is a great opportunity for our football team to show its mettle."
The Packers are 5-3 in their season.
