Vick Ballard has said that the Indianapolis Colts will be "more dynamic" during the 2013 NFL season.
The AFC South side have a new offensive coordinator for the upcoming campaign following Bruce Arians's appointment as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.
The running back told the team's official website: "I want to get the system down. I feel it's a little more dynamic than last year.
"It's going to take more studying and being in my playbook so I'm ready for week one. It's an offense that can fit me.
"Coming into the NFL from Mississippi State, our bread and butter was gap schemes. I feel like we're going to utilise that here. That's my type of running."
Ballard rushed for 814 yards and made 152 receiving yards during his first season in the NFL, scoring three touchdowns in the process.
