Ahmad Bradshaw has said that he is "ready to go" after being removed from the Indianapolis Colts' physically unable to perform list.
The running back took part in his first practice with the team today, having signed with the AFC South team in June.
The 27-year-old told reporters: "We're just going to take it slow. I feel great right now. I feel I'm ready to go. It's just a process I have to go through to be ready for the pounding and practices every day.
Head coach Chuck Pagano added: "He'll be day-to-day. We'll prepare him as if he was going to play. He just won't get the reps right now. We're going to throw him in the mix. It will add to the competition."
Bradshaw rushed for 1,015 yards in 2012 and scored six touchdowns for the New York Giants.
