Vontae Davis agrees new Indianapolis Colts deal

The Indianapolis Colts announce that they have agreed a new four-year deal with cornerback Vontae Davis.

Cornerback Vontae Davis has signed a new four-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts, the team have announced.

Davis was picked by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft before being traded to the Colts in 2012 in return for a second-round pick.

The 25-year-old was the team's top cornerback last season, recording 46 tackles, an interception and a career-high 12 passes defended, and has now been rewarded with a reported $39m (£23.5m) deal, including $20m (£12m) guaranteed.

The Colts have also re-signed Ahmad Bradshaw and agreed a deal with former Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Arthur Jones worth a reported $6m (£3.6m) per season.ID:143781: cacheID:143781:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1812:
