Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has accepted "full responsibility" for his side's shock defeat to the St Louis Rams yesterday.
The Rams raced into a 38-0 lead before the Colts finally got on the board late in the third quarter with Andrew Luck's touchdown pass to Donald Brown.
However, it was far too little too late for the hosts as St Louis ran out comfortable 38-8 victors, an unexpected defeat that Pagano hopes his side can bounce back from.
"We just didn't do anything. I take full responsibility for it as the football coach, we did not have this team ready to play," Pagano told The AP.
"It is what it is, we got our butts kicked, we've got to move on."
The Colts will face the Tennessee Titans on Thursday as they look to reaffirm their position at the top of the AFC South.
