Report: Indianapolis Colts not interested in Ray Rice

The Indianapolis Colts reportedly rule out the possibility of signing Ray Rice to replace their injured running back Ahmad Bradshaw.

The Indianapolis Colts have reportedly dismissed any interest in signing Ray Rice as a replacement for their injured running back Ahmad Bradshaw.

Rice is currently serving an indefinite suspension after violating the league's personal conduct policy after a video emerged of him hitting his then-fiancee.

The former Baltimore Ravens star contends that the NFL's indefinite suspension is an enhanced punishment of the same violation after commissioner Roger Goodell originally handed him a two-game ban, and it therefore violates labor law.

It is uncertain at this stage if Rice will be able to reduce his ban or have it dismissed, but the Colts have ruled out a move, according to ESPN.

Indianapolis will likely move for a running back after Bradshaw suffered an ankle injury on Sunday and he is expected to undergo further tests this week to reveal the extent of the injury and to determine if he requires surgery.
