Jacksonville Jaguars have given themselves hope of a first home win in over a year as they lead AFC South rivals Houston Texans 17-7 at half time.
Marcedes Lewis got the scoreboard ticking for the home side at EverBank Field by gathering Chad Henne's one-yard pass after an 80-yard drive.
The quarterback then fired six yards to Cecil Shorts III in the endzone early in the second quarter.
The Texans got themselves back in the game when Case Keenum drilled an eight-yard pass to Keshawn Martin just moments after the two-minute warning.
However, DJ Swearinger was penalised twice late in the game - firstly for taunting and then for holding back Lewis - allowing Josh Scobee to add three to the Jags' lead.
The Jags are looking for a third successive win to take them to 4-9, while Gary Kubiak's men are currently 2-10.
