Jacksonville Jaguars "expect more" of Blake Bortles

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Gus Bradley wants to see more from rookie quarterback Blake Bortles during the remainder of the season.

Jacksonville Jaguars coach Gus Bradley has revealed that he wants to see more from his franchise quarterback Blake Bortles before the end of the season.

Bortles is 1-7 as a starter in the NFL and he has had three touchdowns to five interceptions over his last four games.

"He's young, but we expect more," Bradley said, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Bradley elaborated by insisting that the 22-year-old perhaps holds on to the ball for too long and he wants an improvement in his overall decision-making.

The Jaguars are 1-10 for the season so far and are bottom of the AFC South as Bradley suggested that they will need to continue to improve the roster in order to allow Bortles to develop further.
