The Kansas City Chiefs scored a touchdown late in the half to take a 10-0 lead into the break in their AFC West clash against the San Diego Chargers.
Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter in difficult conditions at Arrowhead Stadium.

Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith attempted to kickstart his side's offense by launching a deep pass to Jeremy Maclin, but he was intercepted at the four-yard line by Jason Verrett, ending his streak of 312 attempts without a pick.
The home side took the lead just before the break when Albert Wilson got free behind the Chargers' defense and Smith found him with a deep pass for the wideout to run into the endzone.
There was time late in the half for Cairo Santos to notch his first field goal of the game from 40 yards to extend Andy Reid's men's lead to 10 points.
