Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali has insisted that his side "don't care" if their victories this season have sometimes lacked style.
The Chiefs continued their perfect start to the campaign with a 23-13 win over the Buffalo Bills yesterday, although they relied on a number of mistakes from their opponents to overturn a half-time deficit.
Hali capitalised on one such error, returning a fumble 11 yards for a fourth-quarter touchdown, and he believes that the stats can sometimes be misleading when judging how a team perform.
"We don't really care what people think. Sometimes the stats don't really tell you the outcome," Hali told The AP.
The Chiefs are now 9-0 for the year, equalling their best start to a season in franchise history, set in 2003.
