Justin Houston: 'I want to be known as one of the best in NFL history'

Kansas City Chiefs outside linebacker Justin Houston celebrates his new deal by stating that he wants to become known as one of the NFL's best ever players.

Kansas City Chiefs outside linebacker Justin Houston has stated that he wants to become known as one of the NFL's greatest ever players.

The 26-year-old recently signed a long-term, high-earning contract at Kansas, and has now insisted that he is motivating himself to create a lasting legacy in the game.

"I want to be known as one of the best to ever play the game. That's my motivation," said Houston, according to the NFL's official website.

"Once you get paid, it's not like you won the lottery. You still got work to do. You still have to prove yourself. You can still get better each and every day so that's my goal."

Houston's new deal is rumoured to be worth around $101m (£64.5m), including $52.5m (£35.5m) in guarantees.
