Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has admitted that he expects more from rookie running back Knile Davis following his poor performance in the defeat to Indianapolis Colts.
Reid said, however, that Davis is a quick learner and that he would improve quickly next time he takes to the field against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
"You can't touch the ball four times a game and put two of them on the ground," ESPN quotes Reid as saying. "You can't do that.
"He knows that. There's an answer to that. We've identified the problem. We've got to make sure we get that taken care of when things are live. He's a pretty conscientious kid, smart kid. I trust he'll get that taken care of."
The Chiefs are 11-4 so far with one regular-season game remaining.
