Kansas City Chiefs' Andy Reid: "I'm glad we won the game"

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid admits that he was pleased with his side as they moved to 3-0 on their season with a win over his old club.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has admitted that he had no sentimental thoughts over his return to Philadelphia but was delighted to secure a win.

The Chiefs moved to 3-0 in their season with a 26-16 win over the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

Reid told reporters: "Well listen, you put it out of your mind the best way you possibly can. 14 years is 14 years. That's a long time, especially for a chubby, old guy. I enjoyed every minute here; I'm enjoying my time in Kansas City.

"Coming back, I really didn't think much about it until the game was over. It was great to see the guys, the players that are here, and I had a chance to talk to a couple of them after the game.

"I don't know; it's all kind of settling in right now, not sure exactly how I feel, other than I'm glad we won the game."

The Chiefs face the New York Giants next week.
