The Miami Dolphins have confirmed that they have completed an interview with New England Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio for their vacant general manager's position.
The Dolphins are searching for a new GM after they and Jeff Ireland parted company at the end of the season and have outlined Caserio as one of their top targets to replace him, following his success with the Patriots.
The club said on their official Twitter account: "The team has completed an interview with Nick Caserio, Director of Player Personnel, New England, for the open position of general manager."
Caserio has been with the Patriots since 2001.
