Cortland Finnegan enjoying fast-tempo practice

Miami Dolphins cornerback Cortland Finnegan admits that he is enjoying the fast tempo of his side's practices as they continue to prepare for the 2014 season.

Miami Dolphins cornerback Cortland Finnegan believes that the tempo of his side's practices will benefit the team during the season.

The Dolphins hired Bill Lazor as their new offensive coordinator during the off-season, having been part of the coaching staff that delivered the high-tempo offense at the Philadelphia Eagles last season.

"I've never seen anything this fast," Finnegan told reporters. "It's great. It's going to be great for us as an offense and defense.

"To go against one another, compete at this level and do it with this many bullets flying and people running around. So I'm enjoying it."

The 30-year-old joined the Dolphins in the off-season following his release by the St Louis Rams.
