Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has offered support to his Miami Dolphins opposite number Joe Philbin.
The Dolphins coach has had to deal with the fallout from the Richie Incognito incident this week, which is still ongoing pending an investigation after the offensive lineman was suspended by the team.
With the pressure of the relentless media coverage that the situation has attracted, McCarthy is confident that his former Packers offensive co-ordinator can handle things and keep the Dolphins competitive on the field.
McCarthy is reported as saying on Packers News.com: "I really don't have an opinion on what's going on in Miami. But what I will say is that I trust Joe Philbin with my children. That's the highest compliment I can give another man.
"You never want to see anybody go through that, player or coach, and I'm sure they're doing everything they possibly can to make the situation right again."
Philbin left his role with McCarthy to take the head coaching job in Miami before the 2012 season.
