The Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings have reached half time level at 3-3 after both sides scored a single field goal in the first two quarters in the NFL this evening.
Greg Jennings thought that he had opened the scoring when Teddy Bridgewater found him in the corner of the endzone, but a review showed that the ball hit the ground before the wide receiver had control of it.
Bridgewater looked for his receivers in the endzone again, but none were free so the home side had to settle for a field goal to get some points on the board early on.
Jay Cutler returned to the Bears starting lineup after being benched in week 16, but the quarterback struggled to pick up yards.
Matt Forte ran the ball numerous times to try to get the Bears off the mark, and the running back managed to get Chicago into field goal range shortly before half time, leaving Robbie Gould to kick the ball through from 48 yards out to level the scores.
