The Detroit Lions have taken a 10-0 lead into the halfway stage of their NFC North clash with the Minnesota Vikings this evening.
The Lions were ahead early on in the first quarter as Matthew Stafford picked out Theo Riddick, who fell backwards into the endzone for a nine-yard touchdown.
Teddy Bridgewater was unable to come up with an immediate reply for the hosts as he saw a pass intercepted by Glover Quin, while he also fumbled the ball while being sacked in the second quarter.
Detroit missed the chance to move further ahead right at the start of that quarter, with their kicking woes continuing courtesy of a missed 50-yard field goal from Matt Prater.
Prater atoned for that miss in the dying seconds of the half, however, extended his side's lead to 10 with a 52-yard kick just before the break.
