Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier has revealed that Christian Ponder will still be his side's starting quarterback despite winning their first game of the season with Matt Cassel under center.
The Vikings moved to 1-3 in their season with a 34-27 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers ,with Cassel throwing for two touchdowns and 248 yards in the absence of Ponder, who was out of action with injured ribs.
Frazier told reporters: "[Ponder is] still our starting quarterback.
"It's hard to be concrete when you know that Christian is dealing with an injury. So we'll see what happens."
The Vikings face the Carolina Panthers in two weeks following their bye.
