Minnesota Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel has reportedly signed a new two-year deal with the club.
The 31-year-old joined the Vikings last season during free agency and played nine games when starter Christian Ponder went down with a shoulder injury.
The former Kansas City Chiefs signal caller has now agreed a deal in the region of $10m ($5.98m) to stay with the Vikings until the 2016 season, reports NFL Network.
Cassel threw for 1,807 yards along with 11 touchdowns to nine interceptions in the 2013 season.
