The New England Patriots place offensive lineman Bryan Stork on injured reserve designated to return due to a concussion, ruling him out until week nine of the season.

The New England Patriots have confirmed that they have placed offensive lineman Bryan Stork on injured reserve designated to return.

The 24-year-old sustained a concussion during his side's training camp and did not play a game during their pre-season campaign.

Bill Belichick's men have deemed the injury serious enough to place him on IR-return, ruling him out of action until week nine of the season.

The Patriots signed cornerback Justin Coleman from the Seattle Seahawks to take Stork's place on the roster.
