New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount could miss the rest of his side's pre-season after sustaining a knee injury, according to a report.
The 28-year-old suffered an MCL sprain while participating in a drill in the club's training camp, but managed to leave the field under his own steam after initially falling to the ground.
However, Blount is expected to be ruled out for the rest of the month, but should return for week two of the season to face the Buffalo Bills, reports The Boston Globe.
The back was already suspended for week one of the season for violating the NFL's policy on substances of abuse.
