New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has revealed that he is excited to be playing meaningful football at the end of the season for the first time in his career.
The 28-year-old spent four years with the St Louis Rams and failed to reach the post-season on every occasion, but has made the playoffs in his first campaign with the Patriots.
"Playing meaningful football late in the season is something everyone strives for," Amendola told reporters. "It'll be exciting.
"But obviously [I'm] just focused on the Bills right now. I really haven't stopped to look around. All we really do is work. I really don't do much else."
New England can secure a bye week in the post-season with a win over the Buffalo Bills.
