New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady limped out of training after suffering a knee injury this afternoon.
Brady suffered the injury during an 11-on-11 joint practice drill with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 36-year-old limped off the field before eventually returning to the action to complete the drill.
Brady and the Patriots coaching staff then gathered together to talk about the incident and decided to withdraw him from the rest of practice as a precaution.
The two-time Super Bowl MVP was clutching the same knee that caused him to miss the 2008 season with a torn ACL, although the seriousness of this latest injury is as yet unclear.
