The New England Patriots have traded guard Logan Mankins to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in return for tight end Tim Wright and a future Draft pick.
Mankins, 32, has spent his entire nine-year career in the league with the Patriots and has been widely considered to be their most consistent lineman in front of quarterback Tom Brady.
The six-time Pro Bowler signed a six-year contract with New England in 2011 and was their first-round Draft selection in 2005.
24-year-old Wright, meanwhile, signed for the Buccaneers in April 2013 as an undrafted free agent.
