The New England Patriots confirm that they have signed first-round Draft pick Dominique Easley on a reported four-year deal.

The New England Patriots have announced that they have signed their first-round Draft pick Dominique Easley.

Bill Belichick's side selected Easley 29th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft out of the Florida Gators to bolster their defensive line ahead of the 2014 campaign.

The 22-year-old has reportedly signed a four-year deal with the Patriots to keep him at the club until the end of the 2017 season, while the contract also has the option of a fifth year.

Easley recorded 72 tackles and 5.5 sacks in his four years with the Gators.
