The New England Patriots have signed defensive tackle Marcus Forston to their active roster from their practice squad.
Bill Belichick's side were in need of defensive lineman for their clash with the New Orleans Saints following injuries to Vince Wilfork and Tommy Kelly.
Forston has been on the Patriots' practice squad for over a year after being signed last season and replaces Andre Neblett in the position who was released as a result.
New England are 4-1 going into week six of their season.
