Report: Tom Brady, NFL lawyers meet again for settlement talks

Lawyers acting on behalf of the NFL and quarterback Tom Brady reportedly meet for further settlement talks.

Representatives of Tom Brady and the NFL have met again today in order to continue settlement talks, according to reports.

The New England Patriots quarterback was handed a four-game ban by the league for his role in the deflategate scandal, and failed with an appeal last month.

However, he has sued the league, but judge Richard Berman has brought the two parties together for settlement talks.

Brady and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell faced questions at a hearing yesterday, but no settlement was agreed.

NFL Media claims that both sets of lawyers have been instructed to continue talks, and they met earlier today.

The next meeting to involve Brady and Goodell is scheduled for August 19.
