Former New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum believes that cornerback Darrelle Revis is a great fit for the New England Patriots.
The Patriots moved to sign Revis to a two-year deal following his release by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, just a year after he was traded to the Bucs by their AFC East rivals the Jets.
"It's a good signing for New England," Tannenbaum told the Boston Herald. "He fits really well in the conference because of his physical play and he can match up with bigger physical receivers such as Demaryius Thomas in Denver.
"He's a great competitor. He makes every practice better because of his competitive spirit."
Revis recorded 50 tackles, one sack and two interceptions in the 2013 season.
