New England Patriots punter Ryan Allen has signed a three-year contract extension with the club, according to a report.
The 25-year-old signed for the Patriots in 2013 as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech, and he has become a solid player for Bill Belichick's men in his two seasons at Gillette Stadium.
Allen has been rewarded for his form with a three-year contract extension, which includes the option to re-negotiate the deal after the first two years, reports NFL Network.
The punter recorded the longest punt in Super Bowl history in his side's victory over the Seattle Seahawks earlier this year.
