New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin admits that Hakeem Nicks's groin injury is "frustrating" as he is yet to participate in his side's training camp.

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has admitted that it is "frustrating" to see wide receiver Hakeem Nicks on the sidelines during training camp.

The 25-year-old is currently out with a groin injury and has missed the majority of his side's practice time so far, and also sat out their off-season activities earlier in the year.

"Certainly I want to see him on the field, and he wants to be on the field," Coughlin told the Star-Ledger.

"It's frustrating, but I've got to learn to control myself when it comes to that as well and just realize he's trying like heck to get out here and he knows he needs to practice and work at it."

Nicks was part of the Giants team that won Super Bowl 46 in the 2011 season.
