Victor Cruz will sign a long-term contract with the New York Giants before training camp, it has been reported.
The wide receiver signed his restricted free agent tender last month, ensuring that he will remain with the team in 2013, but the NFC East side have continued talks over a multi-season deal with Cruz.
ESPN has stated that the two parties are in the process of finalising the contract, and that no obstacles are expected.
Earlier this year, NFL.com reported that Cruz had been offered a long-term contract with the Giants, but the the wideout refused to sign, seeking a higher salary.
The Giants' training camp begins on July 26.
