Report: New York Giants sign George Selvie

George Selvie agrees to a one-year deal with the New York Giants after leaving the Dallas Cowboys, according to reports.

The New York Giants are expected to complete the signing of free agent defensive end George Selvie on a one-year deal, according to reports.

Selvie has started 29 out of 32 games over the last two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, but his latest move will reunite him with Jason Pierre-Paul in New York.

The Cowboys signed Selvie during training camp in 2013 after suffering numerous injuries at the position, and the 28-year-old posted a career-high seven sacks that year after posting just three in the first 36 games of his career.

Selvie had three sacks in 13 starts at left defensive end for Dallas last season, while he was also credited with 31 tackles, two tackles for a loss, 20 quarterback pressures, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
