The Oakland Raiders have fired coach Dennis Allen after their 38-14 loss to the Miami Dolphins at Wembley on Sunday.
Allen was 8-28 overall as Oakland head coach and has started 0-4 this season as pressure mounted on him following a roster overhaul this past summer.
The 42-year-old had been unable to prevent a 10-game losing streak which dates back to November 2013, while the Raiders also finished with the worst record in the NFL last season at 2-14.
"It's a tough deal, especially for him. We just all got to as a team pull together and keep going forward. That's all we really can do," tight end David Ausberry told ESPN.
Offensive line coach Tony Sparano and offensive coordinator Greg Olson have been named as early contenders to replace Allen in an interim role.
