Michael Vick confident of finding starting role

Michael Vick believes that he will be able to find a franchise that will offer him a starting role.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has insisted that he will be a starting player at the start of the 2014 season, whether at his current club or elsewhere.

With the free agency opening at the end of the season, it is not yet known where Vick will be playing come the beginning of next, but he said that the most important thing for him would be playing time.

"Absolutely, [I will be starting next season]," he told NFL.com. "I can't see no other way.

"I don't know [where I will play]. Who knows? What I am is really excited about the opportunity to play again in 2014 and that's what's important."

Vick has been linked with a move to the New York Jets next season.
