Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has revealed that Ben Roethlisberger will have his knee injury evaluated on Monday.
The 33-year-old was carted off the field in the third quarter of his side's win over the St Louis Rams after being hit in the knee when he was sacked by Mark Barron.
Reports have suggested that Roethlisberger could be ruled out for a minimum of four weeks, but Tomlin has disclosed that the quarterback will have an MRI scan to determine the length of his absence.
He told reporters: "He is being evaluated. We will get him an MRI. I will have more information for you the next time we get together.
"He is being evaluated. I gave you all of the information I have. I promise I will give you some more when we get it."
The Steelers are 2-1 in their season ahead of their clash against Baltimore Ravens on Thursday.
