Brian Arnfelt ready for "huge" off-season

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brian Arnfelt says that this off-season will be huge for him.

Brian Arnfelt has said that he is ready for a "huge" off-season as he tries to keep his place on the Pittsburgh Steelers' active roster.

The rookie defensive end spent the majority of the 2013 season on the team's practice squad, but was active for the final two games of the campaign.

The 24-year-old told the team's official website: "This off-season is going to be huge, especially getting feedback from the coaches on what I need to improve on, what they see from me and to have a whole off-season to work on those areas.

"Coming in here, being undrafted and finishing the season on the 53-man roster, that is any guy's dream when they come in. You learn if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish it.

"It's what the coaches tell you throughout your whole time. It's all about working and trying to get better and when opportunity comes, you have to be ready. You never know when that is going to come."

Arnfelt failed to record a tackle during his two appearances with the Steelers.
