Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has handed a vote of confidence to under-fire defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau.
LeBeau has come under increasing criticism so far this season due to the Steelers' declining defensive performances, the most recent of which saw them concede a franchise record number of points and yards to the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The recent record is a stark contrast to past seasons for the Steelers, who led the NFL in most defensive categories from 2004, when LeBeau rejoined the team, until last season.
However, when asked in a press conference why he still has faith in the 76-year-old, Tomlin responded, "Because he's Dick LeBeau. Does that answer your question?"
Meanwhile, Tomlin has also admitted to being frustrated and irritated by his side's form this season having won just two of their opening eight games.
