San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd's agent confirms that the 32-year-old is out for the season with a neck injury.

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd is out for the entire 2013 season with a neck injury.

The 32-year-old was stretchered from the field in his side's win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday after taking a hit when trying to catch a pass from Philip Rivers.

Floyd's agent Buddy Baker said on Twitter: "The NFL is a tough game - thank u 4 all the best wishes for @Exclusive_SG client Malcom Floyd - he will be back and stronger than ever next season."

The Chargers are 2-2 in their season after week four.
